| So i have been to the Lido a couple of times and caught nothing i was wondering if there is a good swim. If there is someone who has some decent luck on this lake could give me some tips that would be great. | |

| well its down to what you are doing if you sit there all day in one swim its not going to work it could do every now and then but your better off looking for the fish once youve found them get all your gear ready set up then throw bits of bait over them not much just a few crushed bollies to start with then the fish should head out the swim when the fish have gone put your lead over the bait you've just put in they should be back in 5 to 10 mins if not do the same in a dif swim which they are in
and i hope you where on about carp fishing lol well let me know what your goin for and im sure i will try and help | |

| i know this thread is a bit old now, but i've just joined the club - had my first session today - and was wondering if i could pester people for advice on how to tackle the Lido for carp predominantly (although i do enjoy having a go at the silvers too). also, its obviously weedy, but does it stretch out into the lake? and whats the lake bed like? | |
