Hey Guys,
Had my first sesh' on George's last night. I fished from 1830 through to 2100Hrs ish.
Fished this peg:
I started with a feeder line directly towards the platform about 3/4 of the way out (to the platform) while I set up my pole. I had one knock on the feeder line all evening, very un-productive.
I also fished the margin to my right at eight meter's about 30cm out from the reed's. I started the swim by feeding a small cup of Green Swim Stim/Brown Crumb Mix and 8-10 pellets and 3 pieces of sweetcorn. Up until about 2000Hrs I had caught a 3oz Roach on single Sweetcorn on a 16 Hook.
Then at 2000Hrs ish, I saw the characteristic tench bubbles start to rise and the swim went mental with 'fishy' signs. The reeds were knocking like mad and there were a significant amount of bubbles. I was fishing sweetcorn on the hook and feeding 10-12 Trout Pellets each time I shipped out, through a pole pot.
I finished with one tench (picture below, I'm guessing about 3lb), four skimmers, two more roach and three crucian's (biggest pictured below).
All in I feel it was a good 2.5Hrs fishing and was well pleased for my first trip to any of the clubs waters.
Cheers
