whilst fishing margarets today my 9 yr old was fishing the margins with his whip when he hooked a tench which unfortunately smashed him up , taking his elastic , float hook an all............ he was really worried if the fish would be ok and after reasuring him he got out his rod , after a couple of hrs he decided to ledger so cast into the middle of the lake, after a while his alarm let out a scream............. when he'd managed to net the fish , guess what!!!!! It was only the tench which smashed him up earlier, elastic, float an all ....... fish returned fit and well , tackle retrieved , happy son!!!!
